Gabriela, my friends daughter, precious.
Preciousa! Gabriela, la hija de mi amiga. En la iglesia.
The Great Smokey Park river where we went one Saturday morning jsut to picnic. Whoops! The water was way too cold still for early April but mom was macha woman, went in a while up to her knees.
Great picture with the watermelon!
Buenísima foto con la sandía.
This is our garden, it is coming along quite beautifully. The lettuce may die though on right, maybe too much water or too much sun.

I remember having cute pictures of myself with watermelon as a child. Now, I figured out, that any picture taken with watermelon turns out beautifully.

David is ready for school. He loves to draw and write all day. He makes lists of all his friends, and constantly makes lists of food he wants in his birthday party, for November! This list includes gum, chicken nuggets, soda, pizza, and ice cream. He writes so much, at night when its time for bed, We have to forcefully tell him to put the markers and pencils away.

Isabel was singing, La Bamba on karaoke wonderfully.
Isabel sabe cantar, PARA BAILAR LA BAMBA. Pero mayormente sólo dice. Bamba Bamba Bamba Bamba.

Uncle Oscar had a birthday. He looks and acts and sings maybe 10 years younger though, I would have never guessed.

Chapaca + surprises and recent talents

I found toys in my rice when I went to cook. Looks like the kids were playing a game before and I had just found it when I was cooking.

Isabel got a Chapaca outfit (from Tarija Bolivia) for Christmas from her grandma there. She looks so cute in her pollera skirt. She loves to dance to Bolivian folklore music and she sings a lot.

David is a Duplo Lego expert. He also completed his first 100 piece puzzle almost all by himself. I don't know why the pictures are crooked, they show up the right way on Picasa bit aren't when I put them up here.
